The Pacific Cooperation Foundation promotes increased understanding, cooperation and partnerships between New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
It promotes:
New Zealand's identity as a Pacific nation.
Media, cultural and public affairs programmes that increase mutual awareness and understanding.
Cooperative projects that benefit New Zealand and Pacific Islands businesses.
Wider understanding through education and academic excellence in Pacific issues.
The PCF also:
Works to establish itself as a centre for information and provide a forum for the exchange of views about issues affecting New Zealand and other countries of the Pacific.
Acts as a focal point and catalyst for the development of networks among New Zealanders and other people of the Pacific, to the benefit of all.
Carries out any other activities that advance its vision.
