PCF Academic Fund

Introduction:
The PCF Academic Fund is a contestable annual grant offered by PCF to help fund proposals for research, publications and conferences. The grant is available to the academic community to facilitate initiatives that will help to inform PCF's work. Preference will be given to projects that align with PCF priorities, themes and strategic goals as follows.

Strategic Goals & Themes:
Goal 1 - Fostering understanding of the Pacific on the part of all New Zealanders and New Zealand's identity as a Pacific Nation
Goal 2 - Promoting stability and economic sustainability in the region
Goal 3 - Providing informed, independent commentary and encouraging debate
Goal 4 - Engaging with, and providing support to institutions in the region
Theme 1 - Fostering understanding between New Zealand and Melanesia
Theme 2 - Building capacity in communities and civil society

Value of the Award:
The value of the award for is NZ$10,000.00

2008 Funding Round:
Applications should be made in writing to the Pacific Cooperation Foundation, PO Box 10 467, The Terrace, Wellington 6143 or faxed to (04) 9319382.
Applications must be received no later than 5.00pm on 30 November of each year. Successful applications will be notified three weeks after the closing date.
